Stehle is organized under the umbrella of LEUCO AG based in Horb, an internationally oriented group of companies in the precision tool industry for woodworking. Stehle, with branches in the Netherlands and Great Britain, is the quality brand with its own design and media channels and has been offering its products to the trade via specialist dealers for over 90 years. The product range includes circular saw blades, milling cutters, drills, indexable inserts and clamping systems for processing solid wood, wood-based materials and composite materials.

A PIM, MAM and cross-media solution adapted to Stehle's individual requirements was implemented on the basis of the standard crossbase software. The starting point is the interface to SAP. All sales items, including logistical data, are transferred to the PIM system via this connection. In the PIM system, the SAP data is enriched with extensive product relationships (spare parts, indexable inserts, accessories), images and texts and displayed in various market- and media-specific channels. This includes the product catalog, which is over 300 pages long and has a very complex structure.

The Stehle catalog is structured by application to make product selection easier for the customer. The selection is made via the material processing types (abrasive saws, construction saws, construction power tools, wood saws, etc.) or via the machines (circular hand saws, circular table saws, mitre saws, etc.) The product can be accessed directly via various indices. The individually configurable standard table generates a sophisticated product table layout with photos, graphics, icons and texts from various product views and product levels.

There is also a crossbase standard interface to nexMart. nexMart is an Internet trading portal for the tools, fittings, hardware and wood sectors. The data from crossbase is automatically made available via the standard interface certified by nexMart. Product information such as product hierarchy, product images, documents, product features, advertising texts and accessories are displayed.
